I found myself nervously facing an unknown future rather than trusting in the present promises of God. The Lord calls us "His children" and says that He will never leave or forsake us. God doesn't promise a life free of adversity but He does promise that He will go through those hard times with us. This song came as lullabye and a reasurring word from the Lord when I needed to be reminded that I am God's child and no matter how dire the circumstances my heavenly Father loves me and has everything under control.
