Cor 5:6-9 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him
Artie tells the story of how this song came to him at a time when his whole world seemed to be crumbling around him. It came in a moment of desperation as a word of comfort from the Lord. His song poignantly expresses how believers in Christ have the assurance of eternal life with Him after these brief years on earth are finished. This promise has brought me comfort time and time again in times of trouble and as a believer in Christ this promise of eternnal life is yours too.
